We've optimized My Guardian to use minimal battery. Our smart location engine adapts GPS frequency based on movement — using less power when you're stationary and more precise tracking when you're on the move. Most users report less than 5% additional battery usage per day.
Each member controls location sharing and history consent. You can pause sharing and request account deletion in settings. Provider cleanup can require retries, and financial records may be retained. Review the privacy policy for details.
My Guardian is available on Android (8.0+) and iOS (14.0+). We also offer a full-featured web dashboard that works on any modern browser, so you can monitor your family from your laptop or desktop computer as well.
My Guardian is designed for family safety through transparency. All family members can see who is in their circle and that location sharing is active. We believe open communication is key to family safety. The app does include a tamper alert feature that notifies you if someone tries to disable location services.
Accuracy depends on the device, permissions, environment, and available positioning signals. Review each sample timestamp and reported accuracy; the app does not guarantee a fixed distance accuracy.
